Livinginlemarche along with Olivaverde held a Le Marche evening at the famous Marche restaurant, Rossodisera in Covent Garden on April 11th.The evening promoted the wine maker Cantina Colli Ripani, the Marche tours company LovingMarche, olive oils from Frantoio Montedoro and Costa Digiano and other small producers. As wines of Le Marche are relatively unknown outside of the region with only the popular white Verdicchio being normally available in the UK, we saw the evening as a chance to bring the lovely Le Marche wines to a new audience in London. A few enterprising wine producers are now actively targeting these markets and wines such as the red Rosso Piceno and the white Passerina are now starting to become available outside of Italy.
The wine producers see that by selling abroad they can increase the amount they sell but this also allows them to give over more land to new wine production. Among the wine makers targeting these markets are the Cantina Colli Ripani from Offida, Vini Centanni from Montefiore and Vini Venturi from near Senigallia. Monica and Marco from Cantina Colli Ripani made a special trip from Marche for the event as did Nadia from LovingMarche and Livinginlemarche is getting involved in London and other parts of the UK with helping promote wines and other Marche businesses together with Sagraitalia and Olivaverde. Recently we have also become partners with the small wine and olive oil tour company, Vinitours, and by teaming up with some local Marche associates we can now arrange bespoke wine and olive oil tours of these small specialist vinyards, including Colli Ripani and Vini Centanni.
Over the next few months we will be promoting more Le Marche wines and olive oils together with tours and visits. these will focus on London through a series of wine tastings at different venues, including the Marche restaurant in London, Rossodisera and the lovely Enoteca, Dalla Terra near Leicester Square. We will bring our friends and clients more news of these upcoming events through our blogs and newsletter.

We are looking forward to working closely with Andrea from Frantoio Montedoro near Senigallia on setting up the organic and biodynamic Festival del Gusto in September 2013. The festival will be a celebration of small artisan producers who make olive oil, wine, pasta and other foods by organic and biodynamic methods and we hope that many foreign food buyers will attend this event.
Andrea produces a range of excellent extra virgin olive oils including a monovarietal Raggia oil and also increasingly lovely organic oils. His olive oils consistently score highly at tasting events in London and we hope that the Festival will also many such small producers to show their produce to a wider foreign audience.

We hope to bring a taste of Le Marche to London in April at the prestigious Army and Navy club in Pall Mall, with several producers and other businesses from Le Marche present on the day.
The Army and Navy Club is a beautiful setting in which to hold this unique event in London where we wish to bring this wonderful property and also some fine Le Marche products to the public in London. If our plans work out then the event will be held on Thursday 11th April, it will be an all day event and will be followed by an evening meal at a superb le Marche restaurant in Covent Garden.
December 2012
Another really busy month with us at Livinginlemarche, clients getting in touch looking for houses and building plots in the region and several tastings in London and Norwich with our partners, Sagraitalia and Olivaverde. We have also been meeting several new contacts and exploring ideas of promoting both the region and our properties next year in 2013. We also will be working closely with some exciting new contacts to hold food and wine events in London featuring wines from the Marche region.
As part of this we have had several meeting with Fran Kruc of Cocoon Sacconi to set up an exciting project in London to showcase the Marche region, its architecture, food and wine. The event currently being planned will take place at the prestigious Army and Navy Club in central London on Thursday 11th April and will feature businesses and producers from the Marche region.
The owners of a superb Marche restaurant based in Covent Garden in London is helping us with the planning and some of the catering at the event so as to give the event a truely authentic Marchegiani feel. We hope that as well as the guests from the UK and the Italian producers taking part, we will also attract visitors from other parts of Europe and currently we have heard from several other interested parties from Holland and Germany. The event will also be a taster for the large Organic and Biodynamic event planeed to be held in Marche in May 2013.
November 2012
Livinginlemarche has had a very busy October and November with many interesting and exciting projects including visits to clients and producers in the Marche region to set up new projects. In the UK we held a workshop and talks at the new Trade School project in Norwich together with Oliveverde and Sagraitalia to help teach and inform guests and clients about olive oil production in Italy. The olive oil from Frantoio Montedoro in Marche was very much appreciated and we hope to repeat these classes in Norwich and possibly London in 2013.
In Marche we visited several wine and olive producers as well as the fantastic organic honey producer Giorgio Poeta in Fabriano. We will now be holding events in London and Norwich to showcase these fantastic produccts including biodynamic olive oils from Costa Digiano near Cingoli. At the end of the month we are also holding a biodyanmic tasting of Italian wines and oils together with Olivaverde in London, to be held at the prestigious Enoteca, the Market Quarter in Belgravia.
September 2012
During August and September we have been busy both with cients and also with the many food and wine fairs in both Italy and the UK which we attend and support. The summer jamboree in Senigallia in August was the biggest yet and the weather was perfect for this years event. Livinginlemarche and Sagraitalia sponsored the Parlour Jardin event in Oxford and also supplied the wine from venturi vini in Le Marche, the event was a great success with oer 200 guestson the evening.

Our next event in the UK was to sponsor and supply both biodynamic wine and olive oil to the Tastegarden, a biodynamic food event in Devon. The Tastegarden was an important part of the West country story Fest and was organised by Miche and flora from Touchstone Collaborations. The biodynamic wine was from a producer in Tuscany and the olive oil was supplied by Patrizia from her agriturismo near Ripatransone in Le Marche.

Last week we attended the Pane Nostrum in Senigallia where we also met Rudd and Petra from Holland and during their stay we took them to see a ruined borgo and also a fabulous small Castello near Serrapratona in Le Marche. So we have been kept busy over the summer months and so far the autumn looks to be even busier still with many clients planning to come and view properties and also visits to several small olive oil and wine producers are planned by our team in Le Marche.
July 2012
Livinginlemarche is pleased that the first red and white wines from Azienda Vini Venturi has arrived in Norfolk and will now be available through Reno wine from mid July 2012. Initially there will be two types of wine available, a full bodied red Rosso Piceno and a lovely crisp white Verdicchio. These are the first wines that will come from this superb small artisan wine producer in the Le Marche region for sale in Norfolk and possibly later on they may be available in Cambridge, Oxford and London.
It is hoped that other typical Marche wines such as the red Rosso Conero and Lacrima di Moro D'Alba, togther with the white Falerio, Pecorino and Passerina varieties will be eventually available in the UK through both Reno wines and Selezione Zanotto of London. Livinginlemarche together with Sagraitalia and Vinitours in Italy is always looking to develop new business opportunities both for Le Marche wines and also the fabulous Le Marche olive oils which are finally becmoming available outside of this fantastic but relatively unknown region of Italy.
