Le Marche wines are not really known much outside of Italy and in fact normally are unavailable in other countries. Livinginlemarche together with Sagraitalia.com set out in 2010 to publicise these wonderful wines in the UK and beyond, and have held several popular wine tasting events in London, Norwich and other parts of the UK.

Property Market Christmas 2011

This Christmas the property market in Le Marche is still showing some signs of bucking the downward trend that are common in other areas of Italy. Property prices in Tuscany and Umbria have fallen up to 20% over the past year, while prices in Le Marche have basically stayed the same with perhaps a small drop in the more high end and expensive properties.

Essentia Relais and Livinginlemarche.

Livinginlemarche and Sagraitalia are happy to be involved with the Essentia Group which owns and runs the Essentia Relais hotel, Enotecaessentia in Chiaravalle, Essentia Beach with bar and nightclub near Marina di Montemarciano and the duty free shop in departures at Falconara Airport. The Essentia Relais Hotel was previously the Eden Park Hotel and is on the main Adriatic road just south of the beautiful resort of Senigallia and close to Montemarciano.

During the past few months we have been suprised at the take up of our specialist wine and olive oil tours by consumers in London and the east of England that we now offer to our clients and also the general public. All year Livinginlemarche has been working closely with our sister comapny Sagraitalia to promote and market our wine and olive oil tastings together with workshops in the UK and also our tours in Le Marche and Umbria.

Summer Jamboree in Senigallia

The yearly summer Jamboree in the beautiful coastal resort of Senigallia kicked off slightly earlier this year at the end of July and was bigger then ever. The Jamboree went on for over a week and the weather was fantastic for the whole time it was on and in fact was almost too hot with temperatures of over 30c sometimes late into the evening.

Le Marche Food and Wine Events in the UK

Due to the popularity of the recent Le Marche food events that Livinginlemarche held in conjunction with Olivaverde UK, we are now planning several more events in London and Norfolk in August and September 2011. Our London events are held at prestigious venues in Belgravia and Piccadilly while our East of England events are held in both Norwich and also in towns on the famous and beautiful North West Norfolk coast.

Le Marche and Umbria Property markets

You would think that the property markets in Le Marche and Umbria would be pretty similar save possibly for the higher prices in Umbria, but this is not always so. Historically prices in Umbria and Tuscany have always been higher than in the lesser known region of Le Marche, but with the recent financial crisis the price differences have actually been growing closer.

Wine Tours in Le Marche

Livinginlemarche is always trying to offer new services to our growing client base and in 2011 we have been able to offer wine and olive oil tours in the central and southern Le Marche regions. Mariano Pallotini who is based in Carassai in southern Le Marche is extremely knowledgable about the wines and olive oils that are produced in the region and he is an integral part of our team.

Le Marche Floods

The weather in the past couple of weeks in Le Marche has swung wildly from one extreme to another. Over the past few weeks there has been rain then sun and warm sunny days but last week things suddenly took a turn for the worse.

Casa San Marcello
